"all 4 hue" is a comprehensive and highly rated app designed specifically for Philips Hue. It offers direct control of lights and rooms, making it an ideal choice for automating up to five Hue Bridges using timers, alarms, and rules. This app also fully supports all available Philips Hue devices, including switches and sensors.

The app comes in a free version that is ad-free but has certain limitations. You can use the free version indefinitely to check if it includes the desired features. If you are satisfied with the app, you can activate additional functions through one-time in-app purchases (no subscriptions required!). "all 4 hue" is available in both German and English. The developers are continually working to improve the app and have released over 250 updates with new functions since May 2015 at no extra cost.

Requirements:

This app requires either a Philips Hue Bridge V1 (round) or V2 (square).
This app supports Philips Hue Tap, Dimmer, Smart Button, Tap Dial, motion, temperature, and brightness sensors.
This app is compatible with official Friends of Hue switches.

Limitations:

This app can only be used within the local network as per Philips' restrictions on third-party apps accessing the Hue Bridge from outside the local network. The development team behind "all 4 hue" is currently in contact with Philips to resolve contract details and potentially enable remote access in the future.
